This interactive course will provide your the confidence to take care of several medical emergencies to keep the best chances for the injured until EMS arrives. This includes stopping major bleeding, puncture wounds, flailed chest, stroke / TIA, diabetes, use of AED and hands only CPR, and others

About the event
Trauma / First Aid Fundamentals trains you to be that person to help yourself or others when accidents happen. If you are an active bystander and want the skills to help others, register today! There is only 10 spots for this course. On the day of the class, make sure you wear clothes you do not mind getting stained (though it does wash out) with training blood. You will learn to apply tourniquets, hemostatic dressings, gauze bandages, Z-packing bandages, AED / Hands Only CPR. We will conduct simulations of incidents and instruct how to watch for your safety and triage the scene and wounded.
