Trauma and First Aid Fundamentals Course

USCCA First Aid Fundamentals course provides bystanders the abilities and confidence to save lives and provide first aid from the time the incident happens until EMS or other professionals arrive on scene. This course discusses stop major bleeding, CPR and AED, strokes, diabetes, and others.

Do you have the knowledge and ability to apply basic first aid fundamentals and potentially save a life? There is nothing like freezing and wondering what to do when you, a family member, or even a stranger next to you has a medical problem and you have no clue what to do.
This course provides you with the knowledge and practical skills to provide basic first aid until medical professionals arrive on the scene. Those crucial minutes can decide life or death. This course uses and provides you with the USCCA's training instruction, "Emergency First Aid Fundamentals" instruction manual and covers the basics from checking your safety and calling 911, to applying basic first aid methods to those needing your help. This instruction contains:
* Patient Assessment (Assessing Scene Safety, Additional Resources, Patient Awareness (AVPU scale), Assess Major Life Threats, Determining Spinal Immobilization, Assessing ABCs)
